Circa 1860's CDV of a young ballplayer in uniform, adorned with a large capital A on the bib, his cap lying next to him on the studio table. According to penciled writing on the verso, he is a member of the Allegheny's of Pittsburgh. Taken by D. Ginter of Conneautville, Pennsylvania. Previously offered by REA on two occasions as part of larger lots. Nice contrast image with no damage. Measures 2 7/16" x 3 15/16".
