A circa 1860's CDV of a young boy in a baseball uniform holding a bat which is just his size! Standard size 2 7/16" x 3 15/16" albumen photo on bordered mat with the photographer's info on the back. The back indicates the image was taken at Gorgas & Mulvey's Photographic Gallery in Madison, Indiana in Frevert's new building, which online sources indicate they were only in during the 1860's before moving to a new location. A very early Baseball CDV, if only of a child in uniform.
