1880's, October 27 presumable 1886, telegraph to Cincinnati Red President Aaron Stern from J.L. Dreyfus in regards to the Reds signing George Tebeau. Sent from Denver, Colorado where George Tebeau played Minor League ball in 1885 and 1886. The telegram informs Stern that Tebeau will play for eighteen hundred and captain the team for two hundred extra, also he wanted a three hundred dollar advance.
