1888 Smoke Sporting Times Cigar card - New York League Champions. ** This card has had major restoration work done to it, as can be seen. That being said, Most of these in the hobby are in deplorable condition with burnt-looking marks and pieces missing. This card has had significant restoration which enables it to be much more displayable and better looking. These relics are quite scarce and the example presented presents far superior to almost any we have seen. There are a bevy of hall of fame and star players represented, including Keefe, Ward, Welch, Ewing, Connor and O'Rourke. This is simply a fantastic 19th century card.
