From a past REA sale of photographs and postcards from the family of Varney Anderson, 19th century baseball minor leaguer comes this photograph of a postcard of the 1895 Washington Base Ball Club which Anderson was a member of, pictured in the back row on the left end. Produced years ago, but a contemporary issue, on photographic stock, the back with notes from a family member. A cheaper alternative to an otherwise scarce and somewhat expensive postcard.
