Two very nicely annotated 3 1/2" x 7" cabinet cards with photos mounted on them of two of the B S N S or Bloomsburg State Normal School Baseball players of 1902. Bloomsburg is located in Pennsylvania, as was the photographer Phillips. One of the subjects is Albert Newton captain of the Baseball team, he was also on the Football team. The other is Steven How or possibly Low. Both are in very nice shape, oddly the Newton photo appears creased or damaged, but the photo is perfect, apparently the negative was damaged and the horizontal line is the result. While finding early 20th century college or high school players in uniform is nothing earthshattering, finding them ID'd is quite unusual.
