Jan 24 1903 Evening News Review Supplement of New York Giants players George Barclay "Win" Mercer. Published shortly after his death on January 12, 1903. The piece has been cut down to 4" x 5 1/4". The image is a 1900 Elmer Chickering photo, used for a number of players of the 1900 Giants, the only year Mercer was with them. Thanks to veteran collector Rhett Yeakley we know much more about this peace than previously known. Apparently quite scarce.
