Exceeding rare 1909 St. Louis Republic Browns Supplements complete set of twelve. The first of two lots of this set featuring the two St. Louis Baseball clubs, issued from April 1909 thru September 1909. These measure 9" x 12" and are in complete original form with no back damage or pin holes. Each has the date of issue neatly pinned/penciled on them. In most cases this could be easily removed, but documents the entire distribution of the series.
Included with the Browns are: William Dineen, William Graham, Arthur Griggs, Roy Hartzell, Dan Hoffman, Thomas Jones, George Stone, James Stephens, Barney Pelty, Al Schweitzer, Rhoderick (Bobby) Wallace and Rube Waddell.
This is one of only two known complete sets, the other recently auctioned as well. It did have issues such as pinholes and repairs, where most of these are in very, very nice shape for the thin fragile news stock they are made of.
