1910 Hal Chase Fan for a Fan. - Authentic - and in Top Condition - Super Rare Completely original and unrestored The rarest of the series along with the other Yankee, Frank Home Run Baker. This may be considered the oldest color Yankee lithograph, and the oldest color representation of a Yankee in uniform. There is some wear around the edges and around the staples as can be seen, as well as a few factory wrinkles, but this fan is in remarkable condition given it's purpose in life. It is stunning. The original handle (not sure about the staples, they might be older replacements) has nice patina on it from the ages gone by. The lithography on this series is almost unmatched in it's lifelike qualities. Many collectors only aspire to own one of these and never do as they seldom come up for sale, and when they do, they are fought over relentlessly. A simply amazing piece for any Hal Chase collection or Black Sox collector. This is one of the best images of Chase in the hobby. There is some creasing, wrinkles and chipping but the overall condition is very nice. Also one of the staples might be a little loose and there could be a tiny paper abrasion here or there. We prefer not to touch anything and will leave it to the new owner if they want to. It looks great the way it is. One of the best we have ever seen.
