1911 World Series Game 3 Ticket Stub, the 2 designating it as the second game played at the Polo Grounds. The game was played on October, 17, 1911. The Pitchers on this day would be Christy Mathewson and Jack Coombs, Matty having already won Game 1. However this was not his day and the A's went on to win in extra innings. The ticket stub has been cut and repaired on the top end, it could be undone and repaired a bit better for a nice display piece. Undamaged 1911 World Series Polo Grounds ticket stubs have brought well over $3,000 in the past, this one will provide a 100% authentic one for a bit less due to the cutting, which again can be repaired to present nicely.
