1912/1913 Major League Baseball game made by the Philadelphia Game Mfg. Co. Comes in a wooden box that opens with a hinge at one end and you play inside the box. The instructions for play are printed inside the box. It has line up cards for all eight of the 1913 major league teams with player names, position and the batting order. These include some of the biggest stars of Baseball; Tinker, Evers, Stengel, Wagner, Cobb, Lajoie, Speaker and JOE JACKSON! At the time you could send in a 1 cent postcard every year and get the latest years batting order for each team free! Spin the metal arrow and you’ll have a hit, home run, an out, a foul, etc. All of the original pegs and pieces appear to be included and some later blank line up cards that were also supplied to be filled out, the original box that holds them has a flap missing, but overall in decent shape, and there. The inside is in very nice shape, none of the pins are missing from the spinning wheel or damaged. The outside of the box has some wear, but appears nicer than average. Box meaures approx. 19'' by 13'' when closed. Patented Oct. 22, 1912. Only the second we have offered in a decade, this one much nicer and complete!
