1914 Lawrence Semon Richard "Rube" Marquard postcard. SGC 1.5, due to a small piece of tape on the left edge and the year 1915 penned on the back. One of only two graded by SGC(this one was originally sold by REA in 2019 and the old cert number remains in the pop report). One will recognize this as the image that was long thought to be Babe Ruth on the 1917 Sports Companion Stamp, which this hand drawn image by Semon used on his postcard series has now disproven. This is one of only a few of these from the entire set known to also have the red text printed at the top.
