Three 3" x 8" Red ribbons from the Leo Yassenoff collection from his days as player on the Ohio State Football team. Leo and his brother Sol were early Russian immigrants that both Football for Ohio State in the early 1910's. The nicer ribbon is an award for Spring Football Blocking, one is a 1914 Homecoming ribbon with Leo Yassenoff's name on it, the third one marked Official presumably when he attended an event of some type there. Interesting pieces from an early Jewish immigrant turned football player and went on to become quite an important person in Columbus, Ohio.
