1921-22 Schapira Bros. Big Show Candy Walter Johnson. SGC 30, with typical centering for the card, a horizontal stock wrinkle which is common for these, not visible from the front. Very little corner wear. A scarce card, PSA has graded only one, an AUTH. SGC has graded only three, this example, a 10 and a 50, this may well present nicer than the 50. As these are so scarce, they are fairly east to track. The SGC 10 example sold last year for $773. REA sold a raw "EX/EXMT" although it had a paper wrinkle as well, so technically may have only graded VG, for over $1,700. We sold this same SGC 30 over five years ago, for $585, well before the resurgence of first tier HOFers had taken off again, so one would assume a fair amount of appreciation. What will in bring now? A very tough card, that is seldom offered.
