Scarce 1955 Global World Series Souvenir Book, the first world-wide international baseball tournament hosted by the Milwaukee Braves at Milwaukee County Stadium. The tournament was organized and sanctioned by the National Baseball Congress and the International Baseball Congress headed by A. B. Happy Chandler. Eight teams from around the world came to participate, the winner being the U.S. entry from Wichita, Kansas the Boeing Bombers led by MVP Daryl Spencer who was in between Major League stints.

Apparently a very scarce item, none show up on internet searches, and only one program from the event. It is quite large at 10 3/8" x 14" and 100 pages. An ad for Coca-Cola adorns the back. A few bends to the corners and some wear to the corners, the contents all quite nice with no tape, writing or cut-outs.
