Brockelman January 2019 Auction

Twenty-one pages from an early 1960's autograph book with fifty autographs, nearly all different. This was once a prized possession of a boy named Matthew who resided at 1100 North Negly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Presumably all of these were obtained in person by the young man, a couple with notations as with the Vinegar Ben Mizell page. Others included are: Willie Mays(very nice vintage signature), Tom(Tommy Davis), Wally Moon, Bob Bolin, Ed Bressoud, Wes Westrum, Del Crandall, Hal Smith, Carroll Berenger, Bob Taylor, El Tappe, Clem Labine, Al Dark(three times), Carl Warwick(twice), Fred Green, Jim Pendleton, Punce/Ponce??, Bill Mazeroski, Tom Haller, Chuck Hiller, Bill Virdon, Bob Oldis(twice), Ron Piche, Roman Mejias, Ken Johnson, Harvey Haddix, Bob Friend, Mike McCormick, Gene Mauch, Joe Christopher(twice), Janice McCoy??, Dick Schofield, Lee Maye(twice), John Donnelly, with note on two pages??, Danny Murtaugh, Joe Torre, Pancho Hererra, Ken MacKenzie, Mickey Vernon and three that aren't 100% legible. All are as genuine as the day they were signed. Presumably this young man went to the Pirates games and obtained many of National Leaguer's as they visited town. Some are signed on one side only, others front and back.A treasure trove of a bygone era.
