Circa 1870s Tintype of Ornately dressed baseball player- Outstanding clarity!!
This approximately 3 1/4" x 2 3/8" relic takes us back to an earlier and time in our National Pastime. Unlike some of the bow tie type uniforms this players tie is quite long and beautifully made. This picture is so clear we can see the details of his painted belt, his thread patter in his socks and the laces on his shoes. A very sharp photo and one of the better looking tintypes we have had the privilege of handling.
