Circa 1880's/1890's of what is thought to be a Philadelphia Railroad Baseball team, on a large sized cabinet and frame. It was probably a mammoth plate albumen photo to begin with. Housed in an oak frame measuring 22 3/4" x 18 3/4" with matting, leaving a photo display of 13 5/8" x 10 1/8". Nine players and a Manager are shown, with a Catchers Mask and Mitt shown as well. Very nice condition, only a few small marks on the photo none of which readily detract. Quite an ornate frame with gilding and heavy matting, all of which must have cost a premium at the time of framing. Ready to hang on the wall!
