1904-05 Steve Griffin, Baltimore Orioles 3rd Baseman cabinet photo. 6 1/8" x 5 1/8" mount with a 4" x 3" photo adhered to the mount. One of several that we will be offering in this auction, each from a 2007 REA Auction of a large Baltimore Orioles collection, the majority of which came from the Al Kermisch collection, long time baseball historian and SABRE contributor. Fountain pen identification on the back, along with white grease pen name and date of play on the front, possibly by Kermisch. A scarce Eastern League player photo, as Griffin has no contemporary issued cards.
