Matching set of six 1952 Topps color-process proofs for card #22 Dom DiMaggio. Each of these six cards is unique. These are the very first 1952 Topps #22 Dom DiMaggio cards ever printed. Each of these color-process proof cards represents a step toward the printing of the first final process sheet with all colors. These cards are each unique. These first-ever printed 1952 Topps proof examples of the #22 Dom DiMaggio card include the following color processes (missing only the final process, which could easily be represented by an issued card): 1) Red, yellow, and blue printing. 2) Yellow and red printing. 3) Yellow printing. 4) Red printing. 5) Blue printing. 6) Black printing. Each color-process proof card is in MINT condition and is encapsulated as "Authentic" by SGC. The description from a 2009 REA Auction where these last sold. An opportunity to acquire these progressive proof cards and complement your 1952 Topps Collection. Over eight years have passed since their last sale, the card hobby/market has advanced by leaps and bounds, we will start them at the same price as then and see where they end up in todays pricing.
