1945 Esky-Card Esquire Magazine Large Postcards lot of six different from Set 14 Great Moments in Sports #'s 1-6, a complete set. Each depicts a famous sporting event up to that point in time. All are in near new condition. While Esquire made several different set with famous Actresses/Women of the day(many for G.I. audiences), the sports ones appear to be bit tougher to find. Events included are: Horse Racing Man O' War, Basketball Luisetti Scores Madison Square Garden, Swimming Ederle's Conquest of the Channel, Sailing America's Cup The Victory of the Resolute, Golf Bobby Jones Sinking a Putt and Auto Racing Robertson Comes through at the Vandebilt Cup.
