4 1/4" x 9 1/4" photograph of Babe Ruth in his Boston Red Sox uniform taken in 1914, his first year with the team. The back carries several notations as the image was used in a newspaper or other publication and carries a stamped date of Oct 3, 1933 and is probably a restrike from the original. A striking and iconic pose of Ruth completing his pitch, taken at the Red Sox ball park. A handling marks, but overall quite nice.
