Late 1890's Green's Nebraska Indians Baseball team cabinet, one of the earlier ones known. The cabinet measures 6 1/2" x 4 1/4" with an 820 Arch St. Philadelphia address on the Studio mount, oddly the only other one seen online is on a 508 Arch St. mount. It appears that these images were taken on one of their many cross country Baseball trips. This could be one of the earliest images of the team, complete with bats, balls, gloves and all players in full uniform. A nice image as well. As an added oddity, this photo was mounted over the top of another photo, presumed to be done by the studio, as the top photo, shows evidence of having been on this mount for the last century. The probably mounted it over unwanted left over cabinets, who knows what might be below, but the photo showing is the one of importance.
