1888 Allen & Ginter A2 Album of Celebrated American Indian Chiefs Partial Album, missing the cover and two of the Chief pages. Includes forty-two of the fifty cards all in very nice condition with great color. Fortunately the better Chiefs such as Geronimo and Sitting Bull are included. The album appears to have the original leather string binding, the edge of the pages reinforced on the holed side by some binding tape. The album could be completed from other partial albums(which are not that unusual) or taken apart and each page displayed. The album is being sold for the benefit of the Adat Chaverim Brotherhood Synagogue of Plano, Texas, as the consignor has graciously donated this and one other item to their cause. A very popular album, which when found complete can bring several hundred dollars, this a nice partial and very collectible as such.
