1888-1889 Old Judge Cigarettes card of HOFer John Clarkson, then with Boston, his name printed in the text and also etched into the negative. Crease free, a penciled 17 on the back. It has some circular dark spots on the front, that appear to be under the albumen coating and might have been part of the exposure process, difficult to say for sure. At any rate, a Hall of Famer, that is crease free with very little corner wear. Pose 78-7, his scarcest pose!
