Another of the 1888 Allen & Ginter Proof cards being offered in this auction, Pugilist Jem Smith, razor sharp and crystal clear on thin glossy stock, one tiny corner crack. Finding another might be an impossibility. All of the offered specimens vary a bit size wise and were probably handcut from the same sheet. It's quite possible this card was located directly below the Bibby card offered here as well, the alignment marks matching where the cards were separated. As the others SGC Authentic as they do not give numerical grades on these.
