Brockelman Winter 2017 Auction

Pair of 19th Century Tintypes Baseball Players w/Equipment, each approximately 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". The first with two players in uniform, one uniform with a reverse name, but not entirely readable. The second player holding a very long bat, typical of the era. The second tintype has two men, one holding a ball, the other with his glove on, a catchers mask and a fairly long bat resting on the tree limb in front f them. Appears to be taken outdoors and not a studio shot, a bit scarcer. Minor bends and some surface rubs as normally found on these 125+ years relics.
