A super important card offered here, T204 Ramly Ed Plank, Philadelphia Athletics. SGC 60, of which SGC has graded two with two 70's. In fact to put this into perspective, SGC has graded a total of twelve in all grades with PSA grading just nineteen in all grades. With thirty-one graded examples by the two major third party graders, this card has a lower pop report than many of the hobby icons, i.e. T206 Wagner or Plank, 1914 Mathewson, 1933 Lajoie, etc.
The offered card has very nice centering with just the slightest of wear to the gold corner tips. The central image of Plank, taken from a historic Carl Horner photograph, is free of marks or blemishes, the back has some peripheral stains, but no paper loss and very bold black print. All in all this may be the nicest T204 Plank available to the market at this time, as the nicer ones reside deeply in cherished collections. Some savvy buyer will win this card and be pleased with it for years to come.
