1912 Brown background Anonymous Fact. No 3 card of Irving Lewis, Boston Nationals, this the with/Emblem version. While T207 scarcities such as Lewis, Lowdermilk and Ward Miller were traditionally thought to be the toughest of the T207 set to acquire, time and observation of the many offered examples has proven the Irving Lewis card to be much scarcer than the others. From the famed Lionel Carter collection, assembled over decades, this was the best he could find pre-internet days. The offered example has some small surface abrasions and overall wear to the back, yet still displays a nice image of Lewis. SGC 10, a numerical specimen, not trimmed or altered. An important card for the T207 set collector.
