circa 1887 Souby Studios Portrait, Anonymous man in dark suite, SGC Graded. Beautiful cabinet card with a great looking mount and ornate writing on back advertisement. This and the other Souby cabinet in this auction come from a large find in 2013 associated with Jacob Ewing and his brother John Ewing who played for the New Orleans Pelicans. It was assumed at that time and their subsequent sale in Heritage Auctions May 2013 Auction that these were connected in some way to the men in New Orleans uniforms taken by the same studio in the find.
