1921 W-Unc Self Developing strip card - Grover Alexander- very rare. There seems to be 14 of these small, approximately 1 1/2" by 1 1/2", cards in the checklist to date. The internet has made a lot of, once thought to be rare cards, be not so rare. That isn't the case with this series. They are so scarce we wouldn't be surprised if other players show up who have yet to be seen. Regardless of who does show up, and the few who have already, Grover will be one of the outstanding players in the set. We don't believe we have seen another Alexander from this series for sale but surely there are a few more in the hobby. When was the last one from the entire series, you saw for sale? Back damage from scrapbook removal (most likely) and a really nice photo. The front photo has a surface blemish just above GC's head, but it doesn't touch it in anyway. It's hard to be too picky on such a rare and beautiful card.
