1868 Oxford University Rowing Crew CDV High Grade & Rare! This is the team the won the Boat Race of '68, which is highlighted and documented online on many different sites. An important piece for Rowing or Oxford collectors. Each crew member is numbered on the front and listed on the back. A couple also participated in other sports while enrolled at the school. Notably Edmund Carter was a reknowned Crickett player and Frank Willan was one of the founders of the Royal Yachting Association. Exceptional condition, some type of penned numeral notation on the back that has some meaning, but not sure exactly what.
