Very scarce 1912 Peterborough's White Caps Canadian Baseball postcard in action shot. Measures 6" x 2 3/4". This was the only year for the Peterborough White Caps, another postcard found on the internet is a team photo with the same printed caption at the bottom. Penciled message on the back is a bit illegible but mentions one of the team batting. Sent to Charles Snell of Reading, Pennsylvania, where at least one of the team members was from. Remarkably, ALL of the team members were from the U.S., not a one from Canada. A great piece of early baseball history.
