1930's-40's Scrapbook Photograph collection all neatly mounted, with notations on the page and many with additional notes on the back. Fourteen pages which feature the 1936 & 1938 New York Yankees in their World Series appearances, as well as Pittsburgh Pirates, Binghampton Triplets, Scranton Miners, Shibe Park, The Polo Grounds and much more. Players include Lou Gehrig(a couple different), Joe DiMaggio, Honus Wagner, Mel Ott, Joe Gordon, Bump Hadley, Red Ruffing, Pie Traynor, Arky Vaughn, Bill Dickey, Earle Combs, Frank Crosetti, Jimmy Foxx, Mel Ott, Travis Jackson, Carl Hubbell, Tony Lazzeri and several others. Also other ballparks such as Hawkins Stadium and Cooperstown Field. A treasure trove for the baseball historian, as these are all one of a kind images taken by a fan with his trusty camera. As stated earlier, many also have more detailed info on the back as to the player and place.
The DiMaggio image is an early one with the Yankees and the Gehrig, very near the end of his career. All but two pages are shown in the scans.
