Very scarce 1940's-50's Lev Gleason Comic cards, a complete fifteen card set with the seldom seen ad card! Most are crease free with strong corners, just minimal handling dings and light wear. These were obtained by sending from an ad in the comic books published by the Gleason company. Apparently very few kids sent off for the cards, as singles are tough to find and a set, very tough. In fact, an internet search shows only one complete set with the ad card being offered in the last decade, a 2014 REA offering. For anyone looking to acquire this set, this might be a chance that will not present itself for quite some time.
