Very scarce 1910 Mello-Mint Gum Larry Doyle, New York Giants the Batting pose which is the toughest of the two Doyle poses. Only six graded by PSA and SGC combined in nearly 30 years of grading time, with only one higher than the offered example by each service. Missing from all of the Registry sets on either platform, an almost impossible card to find.
The offered card has been very conservatively graded 2.5 by SGC. The only detriments to the card are a couple of light corner creases. The main body of the card, both front and back is very nice presenting, perhaps of a full grade higher. The lighter areas in the blue background are areas of the blue not being fully inked, they are not scuffs or paper loss, in fact they almost appear like clouds.
This will help nearly anyone attempting to assemble this elusive set. A chance to acquire a card that very rarely makes an appearance, in fact we find only one sold at auction in recent times and that was 2012! We will start this one at a fraction of it's value and let the bidders determine the current market price.
