1917 Collins-McCarthy #55 Chic Gandil, Chicago White Sox infamous Black Sox team member. SGC A, the card measures very close to usual size for the issue, appears to possibly have a small area of paper scuffing on the back left edge, perhaps from scrapbook inclusion. Whatever the malady, the card presents extremely nice and would be a major score for someone assembling the E135 set or a Black Sox team set! A very scarce card in any grade, this one presenting nicer than nearly all the other copies seen.
