Two Bill's of Lading from the Commercial Steamboat Company operating between New York and Providence, Rhode Island, with several stops along the way. Each is for split peas being shipped from Henry Meyer to Silas Pierce and Co. of Boston. One is dated Dec. 30, 1861 the other March 22, 1862, both signed by Thomas D. Denning of the company.
