Extremely nice 1955 Bowman Baseball complete set with all of the Bolling, Johnson, Kuenn and Palica variations. Most of the set grades Exmt-Nrmt by todays tight grading standards, just a small percentage lesser, including eight of which are sharp cards, but have paste residue on the back(#106,109,113,118,141,261,272 & 309). This was an old-time Nrmt+ set. There are some size variations, both large and small, all of which are factory cut. This set has been in the same box owned by the consignor for decades. This is the nicest 1955 Bowman set we have handled in over 30 years of collecting/dealing.

The break value of this is tremendous, as is the graded value if one wanted to submit them. The stars are the same quality as the commons, which is unusual in sets, as they are often a grade or two lesser, not so here. Also the Umps and High-numbers are in fantastic shape, just as nice as the first and second series cards.

For the person working on a raw set or wanting to acquire one, this is an absolute golden opportunity. We have provided scans of most of the HOFers, bigger stars and rookies, as well as many of the high numbers and umpires. All the rest are the same as the cards shown. 326 cards total. The complete Master set is rarely offered even in the largest of catalog auctions!
