June 17, 1949 signed type written Bill Veeck letter on Cleveland Indians Club stationery. The letter thanking a fan for his input to the team for the idea of rotating Pitchers within a single game. Veeck kindly thanks the letter recipient, and assures him that that idea was not or would not be successful. How times have changed!!
