Early 1860's Croquet CDV taken by Wykes Gallery of Art, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Very early CDV, Wykes was only in business there 1860-64. Corners clipped and cut down a bit, shows people with mallets, balls and wickets in the foreground. This would be a very early image of the game of croquet which was immensely popular at social gatherings of that era.
