January 31, 1924 Mid-Week Pictorial With Babe Ruth Ice-fishing on the cover. Babe is pulling out a pike of some type through the hole cut in the ice. Ruth is in full winter fishing attire, topped off by his Trapper style cap and what appears to be a corn-cob pipe! An image we have not seen before. All thirty-two pages are intact and feature many, many others prominent figures of the day, the last page and back cover are loose from the staples. Measures 11" x 16" overall. the image 8 1/2" x 11 1/2". An item for the Ruth collector that is always seeking the odd and unusual.
