1940 Detroit Tigers Team ball, signed by twenty eight players, on an Official American League William Harridge ball. Signatures included are: Schoolboy Rowe, Hank Greenberg, Tuck Stainback, Birdie Tebbetts, Floyd Giebell, Pinky Higgins, Tom Seats, Dick Bartell, Charlie Gehringer, Bruce Campbell, Rudy York, Merv Shea, Pete Fox, Red Kress, Buck Newsom, Hal Newhouser, Bing Miller, Dutch Meyers, Del Baker, Fred Hutchinson, Al Benton, Barney McCoskey, Earl Averill, Billy Sullivan, Tom Bridges, Johnny Gorsica, Paul "Dizzy" Trout and Frank Croucher.
The ball was shown and queried on the Net54 Autograph section, where the year and authenticity was determined without issue. A very desirable ball from the 1940 Pennant winning team. Some wear to the surface, the signatures all very neat. Comes in a ball stand display.
