7 3/8" x 4 3/4" black and white photograph taken Oct 2, 1913 by N. Y. H. Service of New York, taken right before the season ended, before they won the World Series against the New York Giants. As usual Manager Connie Mack in the center figure of the shot, flanked by his magnificent team, many of whom went on to be enshrined in Cooperstown. One does not have to look too hard to find such greats as Plank, Bender, Collins, Baker and many more in this stoic shot of a team that won nearly 100 games that year. A quick internet search does not bring up this photo, nor it being used in any other format. A true find for an A's collector. A couple of chipped corners and one short edge tear are the only detriments. The image being most magnificent, the edges could be easily matted or framed out.
