Three post cards from shortly after the turn of the century, two dated to 1909 and 1910 respectively, the third perhaps a few years later.

The earliest is from the 1909 trip the University of Wisconsin took to Japan and played Keio University in a series of games. There are several different known post cards from this trip. The offered item is a photo of both teams on the diamond, presumably from the first game of the series.

Next is a 1910 dated RPPC of the Peru Stars taken by Schwendiman. AZO back, postally unused, the image is extremely sharp. A bit of internet searching led to Oscar Schwendiman a local Photographer in Peru, Illinois. Undoubtedly the photographer who took this image of the local baseball team, the Peru Stars, who were also found mentioned in Illinois baseball box scores of 1910.

Lastly a early to late teens Chillicothe Business College Base Ball Team litho post card. Minor soiling, postally unused. Manager and players with a bevy of equipment at their feet.

Baseball Team Post Card Lot Circa 1909-1910
