1917 uncatalogued and quite scarce Sunrize Bread/Butter Bread from Merchants Bakery of Norfolk, Virginia card #139 HOFer Eppa Rixey, Philadelphia Nationals. BVG 2.5, a light diagonal crease or stock wrinkle, the card presenting nicer than the assigned grade. This issue is a parallel to the Collins-McCarthy set/checklist, but many, many times more difficult to find. A chance to add a very scarce type to your collection. Worthy of mentioning is that Rixey as a HOFer, is one of the few HOFer's known with this rare back. The all important back, unblemished in any way.
