Interesting 1887 N175 Gypsy Queen Charles Comiskey card, the result of a careful and nicely done restored card. The image of Comiskey has been cut down from an original card and placed onto a real Gypsy Queen Brown's Champion host, with the bottom ad also transplanted on. One can only assume that the donor cards all had problems and the result "card" presented nicer. This is a very expensive and scarce card if it were original, the restored one offered, gives the new owner a very nice looking example for a fraction of the cost. Several years ago REA sold a trimmed Comiskey similar to the donor portion here, for over $1,000.
