1909 Ramly Cigarettes HOFer Walter Johnson, Washington Senators, the key to the T204 set and one of his first card appearances, sometimes considered his Rookie when not counting various postcard issues. Regardless of your opinion of the rookie status of the card, it is without a doubt one of his most sought after cigarette or gum card issues.
The offered card has been graded by SGC at the 1.5 level, which seems a bit harsh, as nearly all of the cards in this set were submitted at the same time, and common players with similar wear graded 2-2.5. The creasing is well clear of the image of the young HOFer and does not detract at all. For those considering this card, please note, ALL T204 Johnson's have a light image, this one is as strong as any others you will find, regardless of grade.
