What a fantastic looking 1949 Bowman Rookie of Jackie Robinson. Dead on centering with a bold red background and perfectly registered Dodger Blue coloring. Strong square corners, one can only wonder why the technical grade is only VG+, alas a corner crease the culprit. Accordingly the card will almost certainly see spirited bidding based on the eye appeal and not the grade on the holder, as this card is on so many wantlists, set collectors and Dodgers/HOF collectors. Every post war baseball collection should include a 49' Bowman Jackie Robinson.
