7 1/2" x 8 1/2" Notebook with the 1911 Pennant and World Series Champions Philadelphia Athletics. Presumably issued in 1912. Nearly 1/4" thick, with lined notebook pages, many of the with penciled business records from 1914 and 1915. Many iconic A's on the central team composite. The notebook has some wear and scuffing, but the center image is unblemished. The back cover has a recap of each 1911 World Series game, as well as overall composite score and a listing of previous World Series Winners, the owners name is penciled as well. One should note the erroneous spelling of "Atheletics" on the front as well. An internet search did not bring any of these up, but it did reveal a companion piece of the New York Giants(tatered cover only). Perhaps a bit tougher than the known notebooks of this era. Sure to find a home in a die hard Athletic's collection!
